- Chikka stands beside the Department of Education, NOKIA, Globe Telecom, the Ayala Foundation, Seameo Innotech, and PMSI-Dream Broadcasting in the worldwide pilot of Text2Teach that enables teachers to engage in interactive media technology.

- Chikka completes the development of its Government Information Services (GIS) Platform. Globe and Smart subscribers employ the common access code 2920 to make use of this public service hotline. The Philippine National Police, the Land and Transportation Office, the Department of Environment and the Energy Regulatory Commission are some of the notable government agencies who utilize this service.
